Neverson? I come from a family of skaters. My love of roller skating started in Brooklyn, NY at the Empire Rollerdrome at the age of 10. Roller skating was fun and it helped me use my time in a very productive manner. I can honestly say, roller skating saved my life because it kept me out of the streets. I studied film production at Brooklyn College, and it was only a matter of time until I would be able to combine my love for film making and my love for roller skating. The first time I shot a roller-skating session was at the close of the Empire Rollerdrome. It was a bittersweet moment for me. I was able to capture and preserve the richness of the culture, and history as it closed its doors forever.
